Early in my real estate career I knew I wanted to stand out. Others were telling me what I should be doing to be successful and I quickly learned that I needed to find my own niche. I was a long time landlord so I started focusing on investment properties. Even though I was a new realtor, my clients listened to me because they knew I had knowledge of this market and I myself have purchased multifamily homes.
After a trip to Kitchener viewing income properties on a school bus I immediately knew I wanted to emulate this and go one better. Thus, the #wybolimo was formed. I started to take out investors on the limo to 6-8 properties and we were able to, as a group, discuss the pros and cons of each potential purchase. The day acts as a workshop where limo riders get a package breaking down the numbers on each property. Real estate investors, tradesman, accountants, and teachers would attend and we’d have a vast experience level. The last tour had close to 25 attendees.
